Phone or network problems?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I've very recently started to have a problem with my phone where I will lose my network for hours at a time.

it started last weekend, randomly my phone stated it had no sim and then no signal. I tried turning it off a few times, checked sim was in fine still no luck. Left it off over night and it eventually worked in the morning.

Now it has happened again twice today. I am without service while my family are fine (all o2 users). I've not missed any bills so can't have been cut off. Im using a Nokia lumia 720. Has anyone had a similar problem? Its starting to get frustrating because I don't know if its the phone or the network! 😞

Many thanks.

Have you tried your sim in a different phone?

First step will be a sim swap slight_smile pop to your local O2 store, they'll then process the swap slight_smile

You can check if the masts near you are operating ok.

Try taking your sim out and giving it a clean.

Calling 02's Customer Service team from your mobile on 202 to enquire if there are any problems with your ccount could help.

Ensure your phone has the most current firmware and if persists seek assistance from a Nokia Repair centre. You can check on Nokia's support page where your nearest is.

As said earlier a sim swap could help too.

Thanks for the suggestions slight_smile

I'll try them out and see if it helps. I check the service status whenever it happens and no problems are reported, so it'll most likely be my phone/sim or something to do with the account..

Thank you!
