Phone cuts off mid call at home and abroad

My new phone keeps cutting off mid call. It doesn’t mater where I am. So it’s obviously the phone. I’m now on holiday in Greece and I can’t make important calls home.

It could be a new sim required (If you used old sim in new phone?)

A few things to try whilst abroad

  • Make sure Mobile data and data roaming is enabled
  • Turn off 5G
  • Turn Airplane mode off then on (This often kickstarts things)
  •   Reboot phone.
  •   Manually search for a different network
  •   If using an iPhone, change data apn to  mobile.o2.co.uk
  •   Call customer service to check for any roaming bars applied to your account.
