Hi,

I have recently purchased a new phone (both old and new phone with o2).

I am having difficulties transferring my number to my new sim.

I have tried texting SWAP to 20220, it then asked for my new sim code which I replied with but then just got a text back with your sim is now activated. And did not get any confirmation that my number swap was successful. I did this last Friday and still nothing.

Can anybody help please?

I have tried calling o2 but they are only answering urgent calls at the minute.

if the sim swap has gone through then yes that would include your phone number.

It would normally not happen until yesterday (as you requested it on Friday), but there is a backlog due to staff shortages.
You will just need to wait I am afraid...
