Phone Bill is currently overdue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have received an email from "mycare@o2.co.uk" saying my phone bill is currently overdue with an outstanding balance of £7.58 and that I will be charged £3.50 on my next bill if I don't pay it within the next 4 days. I have always paid my o2 bills of £29 every month so why do I have an outstanding balance? Why would I be getting this email?

My o2 app says I have £0.00 balance due.

Login to your MyO2 from this link http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and check if it's showing that you owe.
If you do owe, you can find a breakdown of what extra charges were in there too.
If it's a scam, report it following the advice here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/fraud-and-phishing-advice

I was replying as you posted, so it's a scam. Report it as above.
