Hi @Benboi192

Its a scam. Has been reported frequently on here. O2 are looking into it. Don't click on any links and send the text to 7726

Reporting a scam email, text or call

Some scams might pretend to be from O2, or from an organisation you already deal with. It's important that we see examples of phishing emails, texts and websites so we can investigate and shut down scammers. To report a suspicious email, text or website:

  • forward the text message, including phone number or company name, to 7726. It won’t cost you anything and it means we can investigate the sender

Just block the number and any others of a similar nature

As well as reporting the scam text, block the number and any other numbers that arrive with a similar text:

So.

How do I forward a text without pressing on it to copy and possibly activating the link contained in it?

Tried to send details as a screen shot to 7726 and just get 'Message not sent. Service not activated on this network'.

Just press and hold somewhere different from where the link is.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
