Dear Forum,
I am absolutely sick to the teeth of O2 pinching credit from my Pay and Go phone for things i don't use or haven't even signed up to. It's an absolute disgrace coming from an international corporate business that must be making BILLIONS out of its customers. I know why they do it because they simply want us to keep on topping up the phone when for people like myself do not require regular topping up. Its all about milking the cash cow and giving the recipient nothing to show for it. O2 you should be ashamed of yourself. If it carries on i will seriously be thinking about changing to a different network supplier.
From a fedup disgruntled customer!!! (O2 customer for many years but not for much longer.)

It's either web daily or O2's way of applying the RPI price rise to PAYG customers. I'm guessing the former

If you do not top up regularly then I assume that you will not be on any specific tariff and therefore you will be charged. Most people without a tariff are placed on the O2 unlimited (I think it is that one) and it gives you free texts. However, it will not include data.
As the other members have advised, the credit that is being taken from you is likely to be due to your internet usage. If you are using wifi then ensure that your data is turned off.

This tariff does include data now
£10 top up = 50MB
£15 top up = 100MB
