Why each month am I having to contact O2 because they have failed to take correct amount from my bank. £26 in credit so expected no payment to be taken this month. Check bank today £25 taken. Now will get the standard answer will sort it for next month, which never happens. God knows how much I have overpaid in the last year or lost in interest.

What type of contract are you on? Payg with automatic top up or contract where they take the balance due?

If you're only £26 in credit you won't have lost any noticeable amount of interest.

Give them a ring so they can check it for you.

On contract had loyalty discount which I have had to ask for most months sometimes getting it sometimes not. Just annoyed when account is in credit they still take payment from my bank.

Have you checked your bill? If you have credit in there then your bill will show as a negative amount as the amount to be paid.

Under payments what does it show there as your balance?

£25.02 on bill yet have -£26.00 under other charges and credits. Assumed they would use this to cover this months bill but they haven't.

I am sure I have seen similar before on my bill although I say this without having seen the OP bill of course.

If the total bill is £25.02 owing then the bill would have been £51.02. Take Off the credit £26 leaving £25.02 to pay.

Has there been a change of tariff during the month?

I genuinely think the OP is not understanding the bill. A call to CS on 202 should clarify it.
