I paid my bill for this month early but today is the due date for the payment, my banks now in overdraft because it says I have a payment due but I’ve already paid this months bill?

Sorry to say, but this is of your own doing, as the direct debit is sent for processing 5-7 days before it is due to be taken, so unless you paid >7 days before the bill is due then the Direct Debit will be taken

You can call o2 and ask them to refund the overpayment if it is taken, by calling o2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2

You can also use MyO2 to request any credit balance be refunded to the bank that your DD uses, @Syd126 - it is very quick!
