All pay monthly customers should have a direct debit set up to avoid payment issues and as mentioned in the contract T&C's
You can set it up by calling O2 or a mandate is included in the guide given above,

Payment Management opening hours:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
