I have received a message from a mobile number telling me to log into my account via a link in order to update my payment details as my bank is unable to process my latest bill. This bill is not due to be paid by the bank until May 8. This message didn’t come from the o2 like all the other ‘ your bill is ready to be viewed’ ones but rather just a normal mobile number. Could this be genuine

Hi @Chriscar

If the text message has come from a mobile number then this is a scam. All messages from O2 would show the sender as O2-UK. Ignore and delete the message. Please do not open and links or give out any of your information.

Hope this helps
