Paying the rest of my contract off

I have sold my phone for £260. I wanted to put this momey towards finishing off my contract. The guy in the o2 shop said that he put that money on my account and that the only way to pay the rest of my contract off was to call a number. Im calling every o2 number i can find and im getting no where. Help me

You definitely need to talk to CS then as it's not showing.
8-8.30am is the best time to get through to CS.

How can i see if that £260 was added to my account like he said it was. On my o2 it just says theres £300 left.
Which is right as i only have to add £40 to that amount to finish my contract.
If i pay that extra amount will it automatically sense that there is £300 on my account and terminate my contract?

Im also not getting through to anybody from o2 through those numbers either. Im really frustrated as i just want to finish my contract already.

This £260 was meant to be put in there a month ago. I spoke to somebody online and they said it was added to the account but i have no way of doing it.
