Paying bill by cash possible?

Anonymous

Hi, I am in the process of changing bank accounts and will need to pay this month's bill by cash as the direct debit has been cancelled. How do I go about this? I can't find any way to request a paper bill on the website. Many thanks in advance for any advice you give me slight_smile

You should have left the direct debit in place as O2 don't take cash.

Your new bank should have transferred any direct debits automatically for you.

You can order a paper bill here but you still need to get the payment to O2 by the normal due date shown in MyO2:

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=36

You should still have a working debit card and you can pay online as shown here:

http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=Companion,question=ref%28User%29:str%28Mob...

The terms of your contract point out that a direct debit should be kept in force.

Thanks for such a quick reply. I had to remove the D/D as there is no longer money in the old account and don't yet have a new account fully set up. I appreciate you giving me the link to the form as I couldn't find it anywhere! I will give them a ring tomorrow as well.

You could ask a friend/relative to pay with their debit/credit card & you give them the cash slight_smile
