Pay off iphone what happens with airtime bill

Hi all

If I was to pay off my iphone which is on refresh would I be able to cancel my airtime contract or will I still be tied to O2. Tried to get through to CS on the phone but it is practically impossible at the moment.

Thank you for the quick answer,

so in effect if I pay off the iPhone, request a PAC code to move to another network, use the code, is my airtime contract automatically cancelled or do I have to ring up and cancel verbally.

If you use a pac code and move to another provider that would cancel your contract with o2.
