Hi all -
This is a follow up to my previouse thread (Answered as a - not possible).
Another angle -
According to my O2 Device Plan I have a settlement amount of £130 for my iPhone 5S
The overall contract was setup a year ago for 24 Months.
Question -
If I pay the £130
Does this mean I own the handset and can request - Unlock - to all Networks.
And; does it cancel or enable me the option to cancel the airtime tariff -
In other words can I cancel the lot - end up with an unlocked phone - a PAC code to enable me to setup a new contract with EE. All for £130.00
I would hope then to give the iPhone 5S to my wife - and sell her 4S.
Help and advice please.
Thanks

And it gets better.
Original plan was to move to EE and take the new iPhone 6 and 20Gb plan with unlimited texts and calls.
Pay the up front £309 phone cost. followed by the £39pm for 24 months.
Then - Give the iPhone 5S to wifey along with a new EE SIM plan of unlimited texts calls and 5gb for £22pm.
Well all sorted - EXCEPT - because I have taken the iPhone 6 and plan 20Gb etc.
THEY INCLUDE FOR £6.00
Wifeys current phone number - unlimited texts and calls AND shared DATA of my 20Gb Allowance for £6.00.
We get to keep both our numbers - how good is that.
Better still - iPhone delivery expected this Friday (today is Wednesday).
Elated - Yes -
I will keep you all updated as to how it all plays out as I have noticed on the site that some dont feed back - and you have all been so helpful.
Regards
Martin

Not sure if I added -
O2 CS were just the best GOLD GOLD GOLD STARS.
I explained - they understood.
Took my Device payment and gave me a PAC Code.
Hi 5 for O2 seriously.
All good English and prefessional Comms - I almost felt sorry in leaving.
HI 5

Just realised - looking back at my previous missives - the grammer could have been better.
And then realised; Good grammer is inversley propotional to the amount of Gin imbibed.
HIC!
But for us OAPs - we have earned it.................
