Pay monthly to pay as you go

I'm abroad and not due to be back to the UK until late June. I would like to move to pay as you go. What's the best way to do this?

@Anonymous  If you have some months left on your contract you would have to pay off the remainder, so you may as well stay as you are until you return to the UK.

@Anonymous  Just curious as to why you think you'll be better off on PAYG, particularly as you're abroad?

I want to keep my UK number, but currently I am using a local provider and does not make much sense to keep paying for my UK sim, since I'm not using it.

Fair enough, but if you make any calls back to the UK and use your UK sim with TuGo you won't be able to do that any more. If you switch to PAYG make sure you go for the Classic, so you won't have to keep topping up. You'll still have to put some money onto the account to activate it. You'll also need a new sim card, and they won't send that to an overseas address.

You only need to make a call once very 6 months and top up once every 999 days to keep your sim active and retain your number.
