Pay monthly contract expires

Hi,

 

My contract is due to expire next month. The issue is I am travelling and unable to contact o2 due to the time difference. I want to stop payments when it expires and then discuss options when i return to the UK in a few months. Do i have to contact O2 to do this or can anyone advise me how best to proceed?

The best way to do it would be to call now and switch to a PAYG account.
This will mean you can keep your number.
You can't just put your account on hold any other way.
If you do nothing your account will just continue on a rolling monthly basis.
