Hi @Anonymous

As you are posting on the forum you obviously have internet so you can pay via My O2 (where it says make a payment)

http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

There are various other ways to pay some are relevant for when abroad

http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Ways-to-pay-guidelines/m-p/874982

If needed ...this his is the number to phone from abroad.....(for pay monthly customers...)

If you want to pay via automated message these are the numbers

Call 2729 from your mobile or ring or 0800 588 4217 from a landline and enter the mobile number you wish to pay. (If this works while being abroad I'm not 100% sure.)

You can also pay using O2's automated payment line. Call 0844 8090202 or 202 from your O2 mobile and choose option 1.3.

Alternative ways to contact O2 are in http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and or use Live Chat.

If you're a Pay Monthly customer you should be paying by Direct Debit, as you're meant to do according to the Terms & Conditions. If you were, you wouldn't be having this problem.

As the account is blocked (?) you may not find the option to pay in your My O2, so I think the only way is to call from a landline or another O2 phone.
It is only a free call from an O2 phone though +44 3448090202 (Free).
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I did read that but was going purely on what the OP said in their opening post ie "I have blocked my phone so I don't get any crazy bills"
(Indicating that they did it...not O2) Hence my reason for including the option to pay in MyO2...

Yes, that was clear, but it needed clarifying just in case.

The OP's comment about blocking their phone is a little confusing. How do you block your own phone, and if you can, then why can't they unblock it themselves for a brief period to do whatever they need to do?

The only way I can think is to deliberately enter the wrong sim PIN a number of times so it locks out.
In that case, entering the correct PUK would release the block to allow CS to be called, which would not cost, providing mobile data was turned off to prevent the system jumping on the network connection.

I must admit I did find that part about 'blocking their own phone' confusing.

It does lead to other questions such as ...

1) Are they without a phone in Thailand?

2) Did they use a PC to post on the forum?

3) Or have they just turned mobile data/data roaming off and using WiFi....?
