Pay as you go go go

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently changed my tariff to pay as you go go go, unfortunately I didn't read it properly.

I had not realised the tariff would take away my £10 top-up

I have now changed my tariff but I am wondering if I will receive my £10 back?

Call customer services & explain the situation. As long as you've not used any allowance I'm sure they can revert you back to your previous tariff & refund you.

No sorry, it was used to give you the allowances you received.....

If you haven't used any calls, texts or data you could try live chat to see if they could remove the allowances and reinstate your top up, but I'm not sure they can do that.

When you changed tariff type you would have been given a date to cancel it.

This date is highlighted in your MY02 in bold writing ,and you get a text message.

After that date of the cooling off period the tariff kicks in ,and as you know now the payment it taken.

It's worth asking the question. I would speak to Uk O2 customer services on 4445. It's a free call on the pay as you go go go tariff.

What tariff have you changed to? I would suggest changing to the O2 Unlimited tariff as, when I was on it, it does not take any credit from you.  As long as you top up, then you will be eligible for the monthly allowance.
