Pay and Go Top Up using existing balance

Anonymous
Not applicable

My anniversary date was 14th feb on my pay and go phone.  It only had a couple of pennies balance on the account.  I transferred £40 from my o2 rewards yesterday (16th) but there is no anniversary date set on my account.

How can i get the anniversary date back using my existing balance?  or do i need to feed o2 with more money using the 4444 number?

thanks

You have to top up with real funds to begin with a new set of allowances and anniversary date. Reward credit isn't classed as "real" money so doesn't count towards your anniversary date I'm afraid.

Hi,

You should get a text message from them saying your allowances have reset with a new anniversary date.

Give them a call on 4445 or use live chat to set your tariff going again.

It shouldn't do it ever, but once in a blue moon it does do it.

Loyalty money cannot be used to purchace tariffs, bolt-ons and they also don't count towards your monthly top up.
