i want to have a monthly plan on this account without having to change my sim card

@Rodrigo If you switch to Pay Monthly from Pay & Go you can keep the same number, but the physical sim card will have to be changed, as the information on the cards themselves is different.

If you call customer services they will run through an application and credit check with you Guide: How to find help & contact O2
