Hi there, I am an international student and I am home in Zambia at the moment and I might only be returning to the uk in august. I currently pay £20 a month but I want to keep my number but freeze my contract so I don’t pay anymore while I’m away and when I return I can resume? Is this possible and how do I go about doing this?

Sorry but it's not possible to pause contracts for that reason.

I'd suggest reducing your tariff to the minimum you can as the only option.

You can do that in your MyO2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I looked in the app to change tariff and it says that there are no available tariffs to change too?

Then you may not be on a custom plan but give customer service a call to see what they can do.

It is not allowing me to contact them on the messaging service anymore and I have tried to call them and email them, can’t get a hold of them.

The messaging service on the app say my conversation has ended and I try to reply to confirm the change I want but it says all agents are busy, been trying to get a hold of them for days.
