I have paid my device plan and it's come off my bank account but still showing online/the app that the balance is outstanding.. the airtime plan has been paid and shows that it's been paid.. any advice on what to do?

You probably need to give it a couple of days to update. There has been a billing problem with O2 for a couple of weeks now. They are working on a fix.
