PAYG sim not recognised?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I use the term 'not recognised' loosely!

It had been in my phone for a while, however the last time I used it was Jan this year, and now it just doesn't want to play ball?

I think I can probably answer my own question, but have I lost the number due to the length of time it was off air?

Is there anyway I am able to restore the number with a new sim card, or get this sim reactivated?

And where has the money that was on the card now dissapeared too?

I had one reactivated after 8 months of unusage. If they reactivate the sim you will get the credit back on the sim. If the number has been reclaimed it won't be possible to reactivate and the credit is lost.
