PAYG Data usage popup notification issue

Once a day my new Xperia phone is displaying a popup notification telling me I've used mobile data and won't be changed more than £1 for the remainder of the day. This happens even though I've always got the mobile data setting switched off - I only use Wi-Fi. When I check my PAYG balance, it's not going down.

 

As long as I'm not being charged for NOT using data, it's just an annoyance really. Just wondering if there's a way to fix things from my end. I never had this issue on my previous Xperia phone using the same SIM card.

If you call 4445 you can ask CS to turn the notifications off or try live chat as they can probably do it too.
