PAC transfer to O2 has taken over 48hours

Anonymous

Hi forum!

I have submitted a PAC transfer and it has been 72 hours already.

O2 has yet to transfer my number across into them.

Just wondering why is it taking them so long to do so??

And not sure to make a complaint too, where I'm still paying for my other contract (Where my PAC is currently from).

Perhaps someone can help me??
Thanks.

Hmm your best bet is to phone O2 and ask what's going on.

0844 809 0222
Or 202 from an O2 handset

Another option to save you any cost is to use the online chat.

I think the network that the pac is from may be the reason for the delay as it is them that release the number.

But then surely if they have given me the PAC and that means they will just let me go?

Ok to clear this up. the problem generally will lie with the previous network or the PAC system. It's independent from the carriers

Still, O2 has not ported my number over after a week and a few days.

What are they doing?!

Can I report this somewhere?

I have been talking to the online thing and they just kept telling me to wait and wait

My old provider said that the number has been ported over, but it hasn't.

Forget the chat they are clueless about porting numbers. Call customer service using the phone numbers in the contact us link at the foot of the page.
