Its so nice and easy just phone your current provider, providing your still not stuck in a contract they will give you PAC code, if you are in a contract they will charge you first I believe!.  I ended my contract just over a week ago and my number was moved to O2 PAYG and 100% working in less than 24 hours 🙂

It's always free to get your PAC but your contract must be paid up fully or you will get charged to complete the contract when you port out.
