PAC code for pay as you go

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I recently changed my contract to a pay as you go and I have tried to request a PAC code and at first they said I had to top up with a minimum of £10 credit in order to be able to request the PAC code and now they are saying I have to call them up to request it as the livechat does not have the tools to generate the PAC code for pay as you go and the second livechat person I spoke to stated that it contains "critical data" which cannot be given over the livechat.

Is it possible to request this from livechat or do I have to call up the customer service line?

Thanks

Live chat can generate a PAC but if that is their attitude I would give them a miss and contact customer services

For some reason only known to O2 live chat can only generate PAC's for monthly contracts.
You need to call 4445 to get yours.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Of you are changing to o2 P&G you only needed to cancel the contract and ask for your number to be migrated to a P&G sim. Of course if you have changed to another network then yes call customer service for the PAC.
