Hi. I purchased a new pay monthly sim only package with O2 at approx. 12:00 on Friday last week. I received the new sim card on Saturday.

At the time of purchase I supplied a PAC code to bring number with me from old network (Vodafone).

I have had no texts or communications about when the number will transfer. Any ideas if/when this will happen, or do I need to get in touch with O2?

Send the form here again https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number

You should receive text confirmation when request is received.

Ok thanks, submitted.

How long should it take to receive a text confirmation?

It should be fairly quick but as the requests are processed manually by a human, you need to give it a couple of hours to be processed.

If you don't get confirmation by then, chase it up with a phone call.

Yeah still had nothing through on texts. I'll try and call as suggested.

Is it common at the moment that there are delays around this process, or have I just been unlucky when ordering and then submitting today?

There seems to be a few issues / delays currently, so it's not just you.
