Over charging

Not applicable

Several days back, following receipt of the first Bill under my new 12 month contract - previously 24 months via Carphone Warehouse - I questioned the Bill.  The detailed "what I've used" totalled some 12hrs 22 mins or 742 mins.  My contract is for 500 minutes, so  the 18 calls shown as chargeable should total 242 minutes?  They only total some 46 minutes!  This causes me to question the accuracy of the total of the non-charged calls and request you total these to check that they do indeed total 500 mins.  Indeed, if you forgive my simple accountants Brain, but why do you use the terms "Total duration" and "Total cost" at the foot of each page of columns when what this represents is the OVERALL "Total duration" and Total cost" - and you repeat these same Totals at the foot of every page of data, including the pages where no charge  is made!!  When I was in practice and you were given a column of figures, I would cry out for a Total.  Why not total the duration of each page of data until the contracted minutes have been exhausted (thus enabling users to see how quickly thier minutes ran out - and perhaps contract for more!) and then start a new series of columns for the calls that are being charged - and total them too by way of duration and cost.  I also took exception to some of the charges, where higher amounts appeared for some calls then those charged for shorter periods.  Also, as I was told the charge should be 40p per minute, chaarges fo lss than this made no sense.  As I said, there were only some 18 chargeable calls, so you should be able to spot these "anomolies".  I don't expect an immediate answer, but some kind of acknowledgement that you are looking into this would be appreciated.
