Out of date sim card

I recently bought a Pay & Go, Go, Go sim card for my husband in a local shop. When I opened it there was a sticker on the back saying "must be activated by Feb/2014". Does this mean it is now useless?

Quite probably but the best way to check would be to insert the sim into a handset. Most networks will generally recycle unactivated numbers after a period though

If it doesn't register on the network don't try to top it up.

Hi

You bought one ? Unless you mean the O2 shop insisted on a £10 top up before you left the shop.

They are free here https://www.o2.co.uk/freesim/

Many local corner shops sell them for 99p

Yes I've seen them in the £1 shops coming to think of it.

Still the link may help if the one they have does not activate.
