Ordering a phone with O2, then seen better SIM deal on USwitch for Airtime

Good afternoon,

I've just ordered a iPhone 14 with an airtime package on a 36 month contract. The total cost was about £52 a month with the airtime package being about £30 of that! I've now seen that I can get a similar SIM only deal with USwitch (directs to O2 website) for only £10 a month.

Can I order this new sim, change the number to my current and cancel the airtime contract that I've already taken out, while still keeping the contract for the phone only? Its almost £20 a month different which is mental! 

I've only recently placed my order.

The only way to do that is to fully pay off the device plan or buy your phone elsewhere and just go sim only.
