I don’t need a new phone but am happy to stay with O2. Once I’ve paid off my device plan can I just keep paying my remaining airtime bill?

Yes, if you are happy you can just carry on with the airtime part of your plan.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

You can @Anna18  but it would be worth checking out the SIM only deals, either as a new customer or as an upgrade - they can be cheaper/offer better value for money than the plans that come with phones...
