Liquid, been a while since I used a Nokia but would a soft or hard reset help?

Remember it has a # and 77 in the code but thats all I can remember.

Arrrgh ooo ok I totally have misled myself I thought it was another pay monthly sim.

Still doesn't change that you can't edit the number which is weird. I'm still searching for an answer for you don't worry:)

It is very easy... You can do it by three methods...
1)soft reset
Just dial *#7780#
It will ask you for reset just give the password
Default is 12345 and you are done
2)Hard reset
Just dial *#7370# and do the same as above
3)Hard reset by button combination
i)switch off your phone
ii)press and hold three keys
Green key(call key)+lock button+volume up key and then press switch on button
iii)hold the three keys till your phone switches on and you have successfully done..

Found this on the Nokia site.
