I am off to Marrakech in the morning. If I connect to the hotels WiFi, will I still be charged?

I expect to be charged if roaming but hoped I wouldn't if using the WiFi facilities

No you won't be charged if you turn off mobile data and data roaming before you board the plane.

Turn on airplane mode then enable wifi and there will be no charges at all.
