ONE-OFF data bolt on - why am I charged every month?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why I bought a ONE-OFF data bolt on in August and have been charged every month since? Shouldn't a one-off bolt on be a one-off payment? If it isn't in fact one-off it should be renamed - this is just devious behaviour. Unless maybe I'm just making stupid assumptions.

I don't think most people would want to have to re-order their bolt ons every month.

You just turn it off you don't want it to continue.

Nothing devious just normal practice and you're not stupid either as these things aren't always obvious until you ask.

Loads of help here if you're not sure of anything. slight_smile

So why is it called a one off bolt on when you can get ones that aren't called a one off? Where do you turn them off?

If you're sure you ordered a one off and not the monthly one, ring CS and ask if they can credit you back any over charge.

Mislaid the crystal ball sorry! Smiley LOL

Yeah it's definitely supposed to be a one-off - I'm being charged every month but because it's only meant to be a single transaction it's not actually recorded on my online monthly details so I have no way of cancelling it, just wondering if anyone knew - I'll go to a store tomorrow. Thanks for your help!

Call customer service but it should not be recurring.

Unused data from it will carry over for one month.
