O2 to O2 calls - cheaper or what?

Our son is learning disabled and has an O2 phone for family & friends ... we all have a variety of suppliers.

He regularly phones one friend who is also on O2, in fact most of his money goes on these when they chat for ages.

His Pay Go Go Go rate seems to charge the same rate as for the others at 35p / min, i.e .for O2 to O2.

Is there a better Pay Go Go Go rate he could switch to?

O2 Family is cheaper

For £7.65/month you nominate 4 other numbers on O2 and they can be called/texted for free and they can call/text you for free. Only on person pays the £7.65 and only works for O2 numbers.

Just bear in mind if you go for O2 family you can't manage it online as it states that part has not been working for over a year and O2 can't be bothered to fix it
