Solved: O2 to O2 Contract

My O2 contract is about to come to an end and it is alot cheaper to get a new contract rather than upgarde. What do i have to do to get my old number on my new phone contract? My thoughts was i would get my new phone, call and pay off my contract and then ask them to move the number?

That is exactly correct.

Just be aware a new contract is not guaranteed as you will have another credit check done and you will need to pass it with o2.
