Went into the store on Sunday explained that I wanted to get a pay monthly SIM but keep my old O2 pay as you go number, went through the process but was made to enter a pac code and start a pac transfer even though my old SIM is with O2 told to wait 24 hours for transfer, Tuesday morning both Sims lose all connection and haven't returned since, every time I call customer support all I get is "it's in process 24 hours and it will happen guaranteed" I cannot afford to lose this number, it has everything connected to it.

Any time I contact support either on socials or on the phone I get the same answer which is "tickets are open please wait" so that's all I really can do.

@ConorCT wrote:Went back into the store today to try and push for some more, they tried what they could but eventually got support to give me a date "5-10 working days, the latest it should be is the 31st of October." so I have to manage 3 weeks with no number or 2FA access, and not even a whiff of compensation for something I have already paid for, absolutely absurd.
Once the problem is resolved @ConorCT, you can ask O2 whether they will compensate you. They will sometimes credit your account with a modest ex-gratia sum as a gesture of goodwill ! 👍

this is the update from this morning upon checking in with the social media support team after noticing my migration request had been swapped to on hold, I only hope this is a positive thing.
