O2 roaming not working Botswana

My o2 roaming is turned on but I don’t get any connection and haven’t for a few days.  I have paid for a Botswana bolt on yet can’t get any signal.  I’ve turned roaming and phone on and off a bunch of times.  Any ideas? Thanks

Make sure your phone is set to 4G/LTE in network settings

Make sure airplane mode is disabled/off

Make sure your roaming and data roaming are enabled on the handset

Check your APN shows "idata" - if not, you can change it to "mobile.o2.co.uk" and that should let you search for and latch onto a local network (even if it shows as 'Forbidden'!) and get roaming data  

Otherwise, you may have a roaming bar set, and O2 need to remove that - contact them via DM on Twitter or Facebook Messenger, link below has the ways.
