I’ve got a message from o2 saying I can trade my old phone in and get a new contract without paying the rest on the old phone, does this offer still apply if the phone is broken?

No, the phone has to be as new.
The value will be reduced for damage so you'll have to make up the difference.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
