Can someone tell me what the difference is if I take a contract ( the same one) for O2 out via carphonewarehouse or direct through O2.

Ah tis a trick question...

If UPGRADING while on O2. U remain an O2 customer and still have COW support for the handset. CS will be with O2.

If getting a NEW contract u will be an O2 AT cpw customer and they have their own CS and their own rules etc.

If you MUST go O2 then try Carphone.  You may ne able to trust them.  Give O2 a direct debit mandate and they'll have you're shirt.  I'm still trying to get back £720 they overcharged me - lots of "Awfully Sorry"s but no action.  There is no owbership in this company.  I don't trust them.

Last time I had a contract with CPW I complained for almost every month of my 12 month contract. So much so when it.came to upgrading they offered me 12 months with no line rental fees (basically free for 12 months) I told them to stick it up their ar... and went straight back to O2
