I was asked to pay extra 240 pounds for the Insurace when I get the contract phone. The staff told me I can get it back after 3 month. How to get it back?

Talk to 02 on 202 for clarification.
First ive heard of paying up front for o2 insurance.
Normally its a monthly amount via direct debit.
Now sometimes o2 ask for an up front fee for a handset which is returnable after 3 months as long as your payments have been made on time.

I think they mean an assurance payment upfront on obtaining a contract. After 3 months of good payments you can get it refunded or added as a credit to your bill.
Call 202 to let them know what you prefer.

Hello Haword,
Welcome to the community.
Have you looked around before choosing O2 insurance. Many people have claimed the O2 insurance is more expensive than other options. Some high street banks provide mobile phone insurance as part of your account, or for an extra fee.

This sounds like a deposit for the contract
Awaiting the OP's return to clarify.
