Hello

I have just noticed my score has dropped by 293 points from 999 for missing payments for O2 which I am not supposed to pay them, without any warming letters, I never missed any payments during my entire life.

I took an o2 sim only contract and cancelled it during the first 14 days, o2 was happy to cancel my account and they did cancel it. However, I was getting bills by post, when I called o2 customer service and explained about the bill that I received for my cancelled account they asked me to ignore it, so I did.

But when I saw my Experian account on 31st cot it was default for not paying £12 o2 bill. I immediately called o2 and even they confirmed there is no pending amount that i need to pay ? so Why o2 has to destroy my credit history ?

This has impact on my mortgage application and impact on my mental health.

@Sudheer It can take 10 days or longer for the referrals team to reply. O2 are despicable when it comes to situations like this.

I believe @madasaf1sh is familiar with the processes involving credit disputes. Hopefully he will join this thread and advise you further.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

And, @Sudheer - dropping from a near-perfect 999 to a pretty remarkable 706 is hardly "destroying" - anyone with a mortgage, a car on hp, a couple of credit cards and no missed payments in a couple of years would be around the mid 700's, it is really just a number.

But, as @Bambino says, @madasaf1sh will help put all into perspective when next on here.

Do not despair, @Sudheer.

I have applied the mortgage loan in India, so they see the "default" account as a big problem with my credit report.
