Hi there
Sorry to bump old threads again but I can't seem to start one - why is that btw?
Anyway, on to the real issue. I was originally thinking about getting an iPhone 4s but I'm settling on the idea of the Moto G or Moto G 4G. Have a couple of queries and was wondering whether anyone could advise.
1. 4G isn't a factor - i won't be getting 4G on my tariff.
2. I understand the only differences between the G and G 4G is a SD card slot and 4G capability and that everything else is the same. I've never put an SD card into a phone and I don't imagine I ever will.
So, the question is basically this: on o2 itself I can get 300 minutes/300G data (enough for me) for £15 p/m with a £39.99 upfront cost for the G 4G. On Carphone Warehouse I can get the same allowances for the same price on the G without any upfront cost. I assume there's no obvious (or otherwise) reason for me to spend that extra £39.99 on the newer model?
Also, one further thing that muddies the issue is that Tesco have the 16GB version with higher allowances for the same price (possibly cheaper). Is that worth considering - as in, is Tesco a reliable mobile operator, etc?
Cheers if anyone responds

So how does the contract with o2 work then?

Thanks for all that
Yes, I take the point about futureproofing, etc, but I'm still not sure, especially on the 4G. It's not in my area at the minute - Northern Ireland. The SD card slot could come in handy maybe. I'm not overly concerned about the refresh option as I don't see my data usage, etc changing that much over the two years, but....
The one other thing that does slightly make me want to stick with o2 itself is the continuity, etc. I had a problem with my previous phone and I was happy with how it was resolved.
Will mull it over, cheers

Interesting, thanks. I was assuming it was post count-related or something
