O2 can’t or won’t unlock my iPhone 6s

I paid off my iPhone 6s as it only had 1 month remaining and upgraded to iPhone 8 with o2 also. I’ve phoned o2 on numerous occasions in the past 2 weeks to ask them to unlock my phone 6s and they keep telling me they will email me when it’s done and I’m still waiting now. I sold the phone to my dad and he still can’t use it what can I do please

Hey @Luke86j

 

This has now been sorted for you. All you need to do is pop a non O2 SIM in the phone , connect to WiFi, go to  Settings > General > About and enter your Apple ID and password and you should be good to go.

@Luke86j Unfortunately, you join a long list. Apparently this has been going on since O2 started to sell all their phones unlocked, which is months ago now. 

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
