I'm an O2 pay monthly customer and have been for years.

Virgin Media have just in the last week installed in our block of flats and I want to sign up. There's a deal which includes an O2 sim with 250GB data, roaming etc.

How do I sign up and keep my current number? So many people have it as I've had that number for decades that I don't want to lose it.

When I go to sign up to VM it only has an option for a new number or to enter a PAC if I'm coming from another network.

If you want to do it that way, get a new sim and number then call O2 to migrate your old number to the new contract.

@Say_Cheese

You don't need a new sim or contract.

You can just upgrade your current O2 contract to the deal you want.

You'll get Volt benefits anyway.

Thanks, but how do I do that?

The deal I want from VM has the broadband speed and TV channels I want automatically comes with a new sim and number.

Ah, so that easy? Will that then cancel my current contract with O2 so I'm left with only one O2 contract? (I'm outside of my minium contract period)

Yes it will @Say_Cheese as soon as the number migrates.
