I used to have a Motorola in 1993, and when the battery went flat I could change it without dropping the call.

Clever or what? Smiley Happy

It didn't even have a screen, but 9 or 10 "speed dial" numbers that you committed to memory. Your memory not the phones.

There should be more threads like that one. This place would be a bit brighter! Smiley Happy

We do suffer as a result of the "change" addicts looking for the latest technology continually.... for free. I am sure they get the buzz from learning the ins and outs of their phone, then lose interest when the have mastered their new toy.

I have been amazed at the amount of stunts being pulled, in other forums, in order to get the phone insurance to pay for the whims of the seriously sad phone junkies.

It is all downhill as soon as they break the seal on the box and crack open the plastics bags. When I crack open the box all I want is longevity.

Gawd help us when this iPhone 4 comes out. :womanindifferent:

Didn't I read somewhere that the insurance people reckoned that over 50% of the claims they received when the 3Gs came out were fraudulent.

They're expecting another hit this summer. - But in the end all of us who take out insurance pay.
