O2 Simplicity Plans

I see that all the simplicity plans have gone up by at least 50p, but they are all now 4G ready - so you can get 4G (albeit only 100mb of it) for £8.50.

Mind tho, I'm sure many in non 4g areas will feel shafted.
But, luckily, it's only 50p

If you look closely it is only the cheaper tariffs that have gone up (typically by 50p).

The bigger tariffs in some cases have come down or got more in them.

I.e. The unlim / unlim / 2gb was £20 now £18.

I.e the unlim / unlim / 5gb which was £25 now has 7gb

I.e. The unlim / unlim / 8gb that was £30 is now £29 with 10gb.

But what are o2 up against?

EE unlim unlim 2gb = £15.99 or £12.99 if you are an existing customer.

BT offer unlim unlim and a whopping 20gb for £20 whereas o2 only giving 10gb so if large data consumption is important.
