O2 Refresh Upgrade?

I have looked into this and wanted to upgrade? However when I go to either online or telephone it says wait till 28th Dec? It even sent me a text today to fast track? I have had this pay monthly line for many years? The operator on the phone could not advise why? However online chat with O2 stated dont worry you can? It clearly states I can fast track straight away and pay the remainder and move? Does anyone know why you have to wait? Seems odd as they keep texting me to upgrade and then say wait?

Perhaps visit your local o2 shop.

Sounds very strange can you go to an o2 store and try the upgrade there?

There might be an error in the system, perhaps wait couple more days and contact o2 again. If you will be able to upgrade before the 28th, do it at your local o2 store as online phones are out of stock most of the time, even if it says "in stock"
