O2 Refresh Offer to pay off remainder of phone plan

I got an email the other day stating I am able to upgrade now and O2 will pay off the rest of my phone plan as long as I keep at least the same price contract.

This is great and I will be looking to take advantage of this.

 

However, it appears that this offer isn't open to all O2 refresh customers as my wife doesn't have this offer available on her account.  Does anyone know if this offer is limited to contracts of a certain monthly cost?

Not everyone will get the same offers.

Most Refresh contracts do have the ability to Upgrade on Us I thought. Maybe your wife isn't at the same stage of her contract as you?

My wife is one month further along than I am.  She has 2 payments left, I have 3 (I had the email when I had 4 payments left).

 

We've both been on refresh for a while now as we've both been O2 customers for about 13-14 years.

Just an update for everyone who's read this thread.  I proceeded with my upgrade last night and took advantage of the offer.

 

Unfortunately, the offer was not available for my wife, who also upgraded last night.  But she didn't have much to pay tho, and she went with a Huawei phone and was able to take advantage of a promo code to get up to £100 off the upfront cost of Huawei phones that O2 are running at the moment yahoo
